Research Learning Community (RLC) is a subsidiary of the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTE). RLC provides a platform where faculty members can share common emotions, values, and beliefs related to scholarly inquiry into student learning which advances the practice of teaching. This provides an opportunity for faculty at SPSU to actively engage in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), while learning together, and from each other. The community will be based on the advanced pedagogical design. Faculty members will be able to bring their ideas, share them with others, seek help and work together with the aim of making the research public in the form of conference and journal publications.

If you have an idea about teaching that you think could work, if you are interested in working with other faculty members across disciplines, or need little help with getting your research work published, join us for one of our meetings at the CTE.

The Center of Teaching Excellence (CTE) started the Research Learning Community (RLC) in the fall of 2011. The RLC meets every alternate week in the CTE from 12noon-1pm.
